After finishing with MA in communication science I worked first as advertisement photographer. Curiosity made me change soon to get engaged for editorial work and soon I found myself drafted by an international wire service as photographer in socially unstable societies and regions of conflict, from Lebanon to Nicaragua, Iran to Somalia and then from Yugoslavia to Afghanistan. Publications in Time Magazine, Guardian, Geo, National Geographic, Yacht, Spiegel and more. Today the lessons learned are helping me to feel at ease in multi ethnic societies with a strong awareness for cultural variety. Changes in news production due changes in information technologies and traditional photo-production as contents for mainstream media became obsolete I lived over 5 years in China, working as fashion & advertisement photographer for a wide range of clients. Today I live and work between Paris and Beijing/Shanghai.
